Azienda Agricola Foradori with Richard Klein and Blair Fryer - Wednesday 8 April, 6pm, $55
Upstairs at Regional Wines
Azienda Agricola Foradori is one of Italy’s most influential estates, located in Mezzolombardo at the foot of the Dolomites in the Trentino region.
This fifth-generation family winery is synonymous with the revival of indigenous varieties, particularly Teroldego, alongside white grapes such as Nosiola and Manzoni Bianco, and deploys fully biodynamic farming with an emphasis on biodiversity in the vineyard. In addition to wine growing, Foradori produce cheese from their own cattle and vegetables, both of which are sold at their cellar door and supplied to local restaurants.
In the cellar, the philosophy is resolutely low-intervention: spontaneous fermentations, minimal additions, and the use of diverse vessels—including cement tanks, large oak casks, and clay amphorae - to express vineyard character with clarity and texture
The wines range from fresh, vibrant Teroldego, to site-specific cuvées as well as distinctive skin-contact whites.
Join Richard Klein and Blair Fryer in the Regional Wines tasting room as they present the stunning Foradori wines, and discover wines of freshness and texture, with a strong sense of place.
